Lilacs
and God's Rainbow
Take time to smell the lilacs when they're in full
bloom,
and feel the bright warm sunny breeze
Take time to see God's rainbow in its Heavenly glow
Don't wait 'til work is done.
There'll always be a cobweb or figurines to dust
Weeds to pull, lawns to mow,
or something gathering rust
But we must remember, lilacs only bloom but once a year
And we can only see God's rainbow
when it's here.
