Prayer
Lord, help me not to grumble as I go along life's
way
about the things You chose for me,
Lord, help me just to say--
"I thank You", and "I'll serve You", and
"I want to do Your will"
"I love You" and "I trust You" and
"YOU my cup will fill."
Lord, help me put my trust in You,
and help me, Lord, to see
That everything that You have planned
Is for the best of me.
Forgive me when I look away
and stumble on the road
And cry to You, and say
"Lord, why?"
as I create my load.
Lord, thank you for Your kindness
to this undeserving one.
Thank You, Lord, for all You do
and thanks, for all You've done.
And when I am not grateful, Lord,
Continue, please, to be,
Loving, kind and gentle,Lord
To undeserving me.
